Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with at least 4 years of payroll and HR experience, particularly within the relevant country. Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR is required, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and experience managing technology and external payroll providers are also preferred.
The Payroll Expert will evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll, ensuring accurate and timely execution of payroll in their region and other trained countries. They will prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, own critical local payroll and HR processes, assess and improve rapid growth processes, stay informed of regulatory changes, and work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters. Additionally, they will answer complex payroll and HR related questions from employees and clients and manage technology and external payroll providers.
